Employment Verification Process

Employees (both current and former) will follow the below steps to authorize release of their employment and/or income data to a third party verifier:

1. Go to www.theworknumber.com or call 1-800-367-2884 to obtain your employee authorization and/or a six-digit Salary Key, which is a code the verifier will need if income verification is necessary. The initial login requires an employer code (AMDEX Employer Code is 105355), and an eight-digit PIN (initial PIN is employees last four SSN and four-digit birth year, for example 12341966). Employee will be prompted to create a unique PIN after initial login.
2. Provide the third party verifier with the employee social security number, AMDEX employer code 105355, and the employee authorization and/or six-digit Salary Key.
3. Third party verifier will contact The Work Number via www.theworknumber.com or by calling 1-800-367-5690, and will provide the employee authorization and/or Salary Key for release of employment/income verification data.
